TTI Innovation Center

Mechanical and Plumbing Systems for Advanced Innovation Facility

Techtronic Industries (TTI) expanded its operations by constructing a $75 million, 300,000-square-foot Innovation Center in Anderson, SC. This facility is part of TTI’s long-term growth strategy, focusing on developing cutting-edge power equipment and tools.

The Innovation Center will play a key role in product design and testing while supporting the company's global presence. The project is expected to create 250 new jobs, further strengthening South Carolina’s manufacturing industry and contributing to local economic development.

Southern MEP delivered a full mechanical and plumbing system for TTI’s state-of-the-art Innovation Center in Anderson, SC. This design-build assist project included the mechanical and plumbing installations for a 2-story lab testing building and multiple office buildings, including a 4-story facility.

The scope of work covered cooling towers, chillers, pumps, boilers, rooftop air handlers, VAV systems, gas piping, chilled water, hot water systems, and a compressed air system. The use of BIM allowed for early coordination and seamless execution of the entire project.
