Innovative Manufacturing Solutions for a Major Textile Expansion

Southern MEP was selected to support Glen Raven’s major expansion in Anderson, SC, which aimed to boost the company’s manufacturing capacity. Our scope included the installation of advanced HVAC systems, process piping, all electrical building infrastructure, and plumbing to improve efficiency and environmental control throughout the facility. 

The project also required the integration of multiple Makeup Air Units (MAUs) and a new cooling tower to manage heat and humidity, critical factors in the textile production process.

In addition to the HVAC work, our team provided emergency services and oversaw the prefabrication of various piping components to streamline the installation process. Our coordinated approach ensured minimal disruption to Glen Raven’s operations while delivering a robust, scalable solution that will support the company’s growing production needs.
